Blog Tips

This page is for the less tech-savvy among us (Mr. Radcliffe) who wish to use this resource, but can't seem to navigate through it.

  • General Posts
Posts will be published daily and will include entry tasks, daily notes, assignments, and the occasional Khan Academy video.

  • Pictures
On this blog, you will come across notes, worksheets, and assignments that have been embedded onto the posts as documents.  Size of these documents will vary and so will your ability to read them.  To return them to their full, legible size, above the document is a tool bar.  On the tool bar is an image of a square with arrows pointing out to the four corners.  Click on it and the document will fill your screen.

Example: Just click!
  •  Links
There is a list of links in the Important Tools page that is incredibly useful in Pre-Calculus.  You will immediately go to the website of the link you click on.  This includes Khan AcademyCollege Board, and many others.  These are links that take you out of the blog.  There are also links that take you around inside of the blog.    Examples of these links are the different page tabs (i.e. Home, About Pre-Calculus, About the Blog, etc.) at the top of the blog which allow you to access different sections of the blog.

  • Followers
On the right hand tool bar is an item marked Followers.  This allows other blog users to 'follow' a blog--this means by adding the blog to that person's Reading List on their Blogger dashboard.  If a user chooses to follow the blog publicly, a small picture of the person will appear in that blog's sidebar.   If they choose to follow privately, their image won't be seen publicly.  Either way, the author of that blog will be notified once a person signs up to 'follow' their blog.
